This website is the place to access the past and present content that has been published in the Beartracks newsletter, which is the newsletter for the Bob Barrows airplane designs.

Beginning in 2026, we made a big change to our publishing model. In prior years, we produced a quarterly document which was formatted into a printable page. The content from that document was also published here, to make the articles easier to find, and to eliminate the space constraints of the printed page. In those years, we charged a yearly subscription fee of $8. The content from those years is still available for purchase here:

There is no need to pay here if you have already paid for the content somewhere else. For example, if you were a subscriber or purchased back issues for 2008 at some point in the past (through BearhawkStore.com or Bearhawk Aircraft), and you'd like to have access to content from 2008 on this site, there is no need to pay again. Just contact us for a personalized solution. The goal is to make it easy to get the information, so that you can focus on building a fantastic airplane.

Ownership of Beartracks Archive access is intended to transfer with the plans. If you purchase plans, a project, or a flying airplane second hand, and the seller agrees to transfer his access to you, please let us know so that you don't end up paying twice.

Are you a plans holder? Register for access to the 1995-2001 issues at no charge. This option is intended mostly to give you a sense of how the site works before committing to a payment.
