The tail wires & wire ends shown are as used on Bearhawk Proto I & II and Patrol. These wires have worked well for over 1600 combined hours of flight with only some repainting needed. Bob

Center drill each end of the wires. Lathe cut the threads to near finish size and finish with a new 1/4-28 die to
obtain a first class thread. The lengths shown are for current design Bearhawk (4 pl.). Check your aircraft to insure proper lengths, (3/8” min. thread engagement). Both threads 1/4-28 are right hand. Tightening is done by the 1/4” bolts that go thru the tail post and elevator spars. A std. 1/4-28 AN665-34R Clevis is used on the bottom of the lower wires, or make your own from the 3/8x.083 tube.
