Congratulations to Paul for winning the Best Homebuilt Aircraft award! The convention was held in Middleburg, Mpumalanga. Paul’s Bearhawk has an Aerosport IO375 making 200hp, and an MT9B 3-blade prop, and a VFR Dynon-based panel. It first flew in October 2022. The photo to the right shows Paul on the left, and Jayson Van Schalkwyk of Berg Aero Works, the South African Bearhawk dealer. Jayson had arranged a display of the Paul’s plane, a Patrol, and an LSA at the convention.
