This plane was originally built by Steve Thompson, near Jacksonville Florida. It first flew in 2003, though it has spent much of its life in storage. When Steve first built it, there was no cargo door. He subsequently added the cargo door and recovered the fuselage. Mike Swain purchased it recently and flew it to the Triple Tree Aerodrome for their fall fly-in, where I got these photos. Mike is working on avionics upgrades and a few other odds and ends.
